Online Storytime

I am happy that Clancy the Quokka has been included in Online Storytime 2021, in association with Books Create Australia, the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA), the Australian Booksellers Association (ABA), the Australian Publishers Association (APA), the Australian Society of Authors (ASA) and by permission of Allen & Unwin!

This initiative allows participating Australian picture book titles to be read aloud and posted online for a period of six months, so that children in lockdown can still benefit from library story time.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am passionate about children’s literacy, so it was really a no-brainer that I agree to Clancy being included on the list of available titles. Initiatives like this are so important!

To date, I know of two public libraries who have read Clancy the Quokka, and I am linking them here. These links will of course expire once the agreed time limit has been reached.

It’s great to see Clancy being read for this initiative! Make yourself some fairy bread and take a look!
